Customs Agent - UK

Join a fast-paced, international logistics operation as a Customs Agent and play a key role in ensuring compliant and smooth movement of goods across borders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll handle end-to-end import/export customs clearance tasks in line with HMRC regulations, working closely with UK teams, local operations, and overseas partners. This is an on-site role based in our Islamabad office, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a hands-on understanding of international trade compliance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing and submitting customs declarations using platforms like e-Customs, CNS, and CHIEF
• Ensuring accurate documentation and HS code classification
• Coordinating with UK transport and warehouse teams
• Monitoring shipments from departure to final delivery
• Managing customs-related queries and audits with HMRC
• Maintaining compliance records and internal SOP checks
• Supporting billing, costing, and reporting requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a similar role in freight, logistics, or customs operations
• Good understanding of HMRC rules, trade tariff, and classification procedures
• Strong communication, time management, and MS Office skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

Preferred (but not essential):

• Formal training or qualification in customs/import-export compliance
• Familiarity with UK trade regulations or air freight processes
• Aviation Security Level CO or Level 4 Customs Compliance Certification

🕘 Timings: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM UK TIME
